What is Home Modeling?

Home Modeling is a “New Thing” that allows girls to create and sell modeling photos from their home. These models sell their modeling photos to companies. The companies that buy these photos use them to promote the items they sell in their stores, like a t-shirt, a dress, or a swimsuit. In most cases, companies use these photos in their advertisements (e.g., Instagram ad, Facebook ad) and online stores.

For example, in one of these modeling photos, a Home Model could be wearing a dress that a specific company sells in their stores. Then, the company would display this photo in their Amazon store, Etsy store, and Instagram ads to help promote and sell this dress.

Now, in Terms of the Obvious Question - How Are Modeling Photos Normally Created?

Before home modeling was invented, there was only one way to create modeling photos: a business owner had to hire a professional photographer, a fashion model, a makeup artist, a hairstylist, and rent a photoshoot studio. As you can imagine, this was quite expensive! For example, at the lowest price point, a business owner would have to spend at least $10,000 to hire these four people and rent the studio. So, if the business needed ten modeling photos created—which is a common request—they would have to spend at least $1,000 per photo! That’s a lot of money!

How Much Money Can Home Models Make?

On a per-year basis, there’s no limit to what a Home Model can earn by running this “new type” of home-based business. In theory, she could make over $100,000 per year if her modeling photos are in high demand!

Now, on a per-photoshoot basis, how much can a Home Model earn?

How much a Home Model can earn on a per-photoshoot basis depends on two variables: how much she charges for each photo and how many photos the customer (a business) buys from her.

Here’s an example of what I’m talking about: Since it’s their business, Home Models have full control over pricing. Therefore, they can charge whatever they want for their modeling photos (e.g., $25 per photo, $100 per photo). Also, the Home Model’s customer has the option to only buy the photos they like best from the Home Model’s photoshoot. This system creates a financial incentive for the Home Model to do an excellent job with the photoshoot, and it protects the customer from pre-paying for a bunch of photos they don’t like.

Therefore, if the Home Model creates 30 modeling photos during her photoshoot, and the customer wants to buy 15 of them, she will make $600 if she charges $40 per photo. Or, if she charges $60 per photo, she will make $900.

Why Are More and More Companies Buying Modeling Photos From Home Models Rather Than Hiring a Professional Photographer and a Traditional Model for the Job?

To save money! For example, businesses can easily save around $1,000 per modeling photo when they buy their modeling photos from a Home Model, instead of having them created the traditional way, which involves hiring a photoshoot team of at least four people (professional photographer, traditional model, hairstylist, and makeup artist).

As mentioned, if you hire these four people and rent a photoshoot studio, you will have to spend at least $10,000. Therefore, if the customer wants ten modeling photos created—a common request—they will have to spend at least $1,000 per photo! On the flip side, most Home Models sell their photos for around $50 to $75 per photo!

Over the Last Few Years, What Type of Girl Has Enjoyed Home Modeling Work the Most? What Common Problem Does It Solve?

Home Modeling is the ideal solution for girls who have wanted to do lots of “paid” modeling work on a regular basis, but have not had success reaching that goal. In most cases, these girls fall into two categories, which I discuss below..

Professional Models

Professional models can easily go 4 to 6 weeks without booking a single modeling job through their modeling agency. Of course, this can lead to financial stress and boredom from constantly waiting around for the next job!

Well, Home Modeling is the perfect solution to this problem! This new type of modeling can generate a second source of income for professional models of at least a few thousand dollars every month!

Aspirational Models

Home Modeling is the ideal solution for girls who want to sign with a modeling agency - so they can receive modeling jobs - but are unable to do so. In most cases, these girls have no modeling agencies in their town or they don't meet the height requirement that modeling agencies have (e.g., 5’9’’ or taller).

Of course, Home Modeling is the perfect solution to this problem because you don’t have to join a modeling agency to become a Home Model. Plus, there is no height requirement to be a Home Model either. Lots of companies will work with a model they find attractive, regardless of her height.

If a Girl Wants to Make Extra Money From Her House by Doing Home Modeling Work, What Type of Equipment Does She Have to Buy?

If somebody wants to create modeling photos from their home, all they need are three pieces of equipment: a smartphone with a high-quality camera, a camera tripod, and a remote control.

Of course, most people already have a smartphone with a high-quality camera, like an iPhone 14. iPhone 15, or iPhone 16. Therefore, they only need to buy a remote control and a camera tripod to become a Home Model. Thankfully, both items are very affordable. For example, Amazon sells the remote control and the camera tripod together for just ten dollars (Click Here)!

Side note: In case you're wondering how this remote control works, it has a button that triggers the smartphone to take a photo when pressed. Also, the model can easily hide the remote in her hand during the photoshoot, so it doesn’t appear in the photos. The remote uses Bluetooth technology to control the smartphone’s camera shutter.

How Do Home Models Get Their Customers? In Other Words, How Do They Get Companies to Purchase Their Photos?

When Home Modeling first started, there were only about 100 models doing it. They were all professional models looking for extra income to help pay their expensive apartment rents in places like New York City and Los Angeles while they waited for their modeling agency to call with their next job. Usually, these models promoted themselves on Instagram, as there was no other way to acquire customers.

However, there is now a much easier way to acquire customers. Girls who want to do Home Modeling work can create a free profile page on a website called "Home Models" (www.home-models.com). This website is an online directory of Home Models from around the world. The owner of the website sends it to over 1,000 new companies each month. Additionally, it appears in Google search results when companies are looking for Home Models to hire.

As mentioned, creating a profile page on the “Home Models” website is completely free, but they do charge a 15% fee when they help one of their users (a Home Model) get a customer. So, if the Home Model sells $1,000 worth of photos to a company that discovered her on the “Home Models” website, this website will receive a 15% fee, which is $150 in this example. Of course, this is how modeling agencies make their money, but they usually charge professional models a 20% fee.
